Inspire Education Academy

Inspire Education Academy provides education and workforce development support to empower youth and young adults to obtain their High School Diploma, develop Workforce Development skills, Employment Resources, build Financial Literacy, and receive Career Coaching and Mentorship.

Participants in this program will receive:

Case management support to determine essential needs, such as stability, safety, transportation, food, clothing, and essential documents (ID, Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, etc.). 

Workforce Development through a partnership with the Alabama Community College System Alabama Certifed Employment (ACE) Program and Mobilizing Alabama Pathways (MAPS) Program.  Career pathways include:

  • Architecture & Construction

  • Healthcare

  • Hospitality & Tourism

  • Information Technology

  • Manufacturing

  • Transportation & Logistics

Construction Pre-Apprenticeship through HBI Skills to Trade Program.  This trade is a pre-apprenticeship that prepares in specialized construction areas. 

General Contractor

  • Plumbing

  • Electrical

  • Painting

  • and more...

Inspire Education Academy is for nontraditional students who are looking for second chances.  Nontraditional students are defined as:

  • Must be 17 years of age or older

  • Not currently enrolled in school

  • Unemployed or under-employed

  • Seeking a life changing experience

  • Justice-Involved are invited (restrictions may apply)

  • Transportation Provided (depicting mileage)

The investment for participants is a 1-year commitment
