At Inspire Education Academy, we believe in second chances and new beginnings. Our mission is to empower youth and young adults—especially those from nontraditional backgrounds—with the tools they need to succeed through education, workforce development, and comprehensive support services.

 

What We Offer
Participants in our academy commit to a transformative one-year journey where they gain:

  • High School Diploma 

  • Workforce Development Skills

  • Job Readiness Training & Career Coaching

  • Financial Literacy & Mentorship

  • Life Coaching & Life Services Support

 

Comprehensive Case Management
We meet students where they are—identifying and addressing barriers to success. Our case management team supports essential needs, including:

  • Housing and safety stability

  • Transportation and food access

  • Clothing and hygiene products

  • Assistance with vital documents (ID, Social Security Card, Birth Certificate)

 

Career Pathways & Trade Training
We partner with the Alabama Community College System’s Alabama Certified Employment (ACE) Program and the Mobilizing Alabama Pathways (MAPS) Program to offer specialized career tracks in:

  • Architecture & Construction

  • Healthcare

  • Hospitality & Tourism

  • Information Technology

  • Manufacturing

  • Transportation & Logistics

In addition, students may enter our HBI Skills to Trade Construction Pre-Apprenticeship, receiving hands-on training in:

  • General Contracting

  • Plumbing

  • Electrical Work

  • Painting

  • And more...

 

Who We Serve
Inspire Education Academy welcomes nontraditional students, including those who are:

  • 17 years or older

  • Not currently enrolled in school

  • Unemployed or underemployed

  • Justice-involved (restrictions may apply)

  • Seeking a life-changing opportunity

  • Transportation is provided to reduce barriers to participation.
