C.H.O.I.C.E.S.—Choosing Hope Over Influence, Changing Every Situation—is a strengths-based personal development program that empowers participants to break free from destructive cycles, enhance emotional intelligence, and make positive, lasting change in their lives. Rooted in evidence-based practices and adapted from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), this program addresses a range of challenges such as anger, substance use, and mental health struggles.

The C.H.O.I.C.E.S. Program curriculum is rooted in evidence-based principles adapted from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). This strengths-based, trauma-informed framework is designed to address emotional regulation, critical thinking, goal setting, and personal accountability. The curriculum includes modules on:

Emotional Intelligence & Self-Awareness: Participants learn to identify, understand, and manage their emotions while developing empathy and healthy interpersonal skills.

Anger Management & Conflict Resolution: Strategies for recognizing triggers, de-escalating conflict, and developing nonviolent communication skills are taught and practiced.

Substance Use Prevention & Mental Health Awareness: Sessions promote awareness of addiction cycles, teach coping mechanisms, and offer tools for mental wellness and self-care.
