About Community Food Hubs Program

At CCDN, we understand that access to nutritious food is essential for building healthier, more stable communities. We're proud to introduce our Community Food Hubs Program, a vital initiative rooted in our commitment to Prevention, Access, and Stability.

  • Prevention: Addressing Food Insecurity Head-On: Food insecurity is a pressing issue in many communities, with far-reaching consequences for individuals and families. Through our Community Food Hubs, we aim to prevent hunger and its associated challenges by providing a reliable source of nutritious food to those in need.

  • Access: Breaking Down Barriers to Food: Access to nutritious food can be a significant challenge for individuals facing food insecurity. Our Community Food Hubs are strategically located in areas with limited food access and transportation options, ensuring that families have a convenient and reliable way to access the support they need.

  • Stability: Building Stronger, More Resilient Communities: By addressing food insecurity, we're meeting immediate needs and laying the groundwork for long-term stability and prosperity. Access to nutritious food is essential for individuals and families to lead healthier, more stable lives, ultimately contributing to the strength and resilience of our communities.

How It Works: Through partnerships with local organizations and generous donors, we stock our Community Food Hubs with pantry staples, fresh produce, and essential items. Families in need can visit these hubs during scheduled hours to receive free groceries and support from our dedicated volunteers.

Making a Difference Together: We believe creating a community where everyone can access nutritious food is a collective effort. Whether you're interested in volunteering your time, donating resources, or spreading the word about our program, there are many ways to get involved and make a difference.

Join Us:  Together, we can make a tangible impact on the lives of individuals and families facing food insecurity. Join us in creating a community where everyone can access nutritious food to thrive. Together, we can build a brighter future for all.
