Crowned in Purpose: Celebrating 12 Years of Building Community with Care
For twelve years, Community Care Development Network (CCDN) has been a beacon of hope for families across Jefferson County — distributing over 336,000 pounds of food, credentialing 275 students through Inspire Education Academy, and serving nearly 49,000 households in 2025 alone. On Saturday, June 6, 2026, we invite you to join us for the Crowned in Purpose Gala, our 12th Anniversary Celebration, at the Trussville Civic Center. This elegant black-tie evening will bring together community leaders, partners, and supporters for a night of reflection, inspiration, and vision — featuring a powerful keynote address, live entertainment, a curated silent auction, and moving stories straight from the families we serve.
Your presence and support make this work possible. Whether you attend as a guest, partner with us as a sponsor at any level from $2,500 to $25,000+, or contribute through an in-kind donation, your investment directly strengthens CCDN's programs — from our Community Food Hubs and Youth Mentoring initiatives to the Fatherhood Initiative and Inspire Education Academy. This is more than a gala. It is a celebration of legacy, a call to community, and an invitation to help build the next chapter. Sponsorship commitments are due by May 15, 2026. To learn more or secure your sponsorship, contact Dr. Tamika D. Holmes at tamika@ccommunitycaredn.org or (205) 586-07406, or give online at https://givebutter.com/c/crowned-in-purpose-ccdn.

Our Model
CCDN’s Strengthening Families Model focuses on empowering families through four key areas. Human Support Services addresses food insecurity with Mobile Food Hubs and connects families to essential resources like shelter and financial aid. Education Support Services provides pathways to success through Inspire Education Academy, offering academic credentialing and workforce readiness. Family Support Services strengthens families with mentoring, parenting resources, and counseling. Community Outreach engages communities through events, pop-up food hubs, and partnerships. This holistic approach fosters stability, resilience, and thriving communities.
