Volunteer With Us!
Volunteering with CCDN can be quite fun! We have a number of interns (teens and college students) who work with our team to provide support services. Students in our Inspire Education Academy also volunteer their time to help work the Community Food Pantry which supplies food to over 4000 families monthly across the city and county.
Volunteer Areas
Human Support Services
Human Support Services Program provides essential needs such as food, clothes, toiletries, and resource connection.
Volunteers may choose to help in the Community Food Hubs Program, administration, or case management
Education Support Services
Education Support Services is where Inspire Education Academy/Services is delivered. This are programs designed to help youth and adults transition from challenging places to life. This program starts at age 17 and up. The program provides educational support, life development, workforce development, financial literacy, and more...
Volunteers may choose to help tutor, become a mentor, or assist with mock interviews
Family Support Services
Family Support Services Programs provide support to youth, parents, and families. The support comes in the form of mentoring sessions group and private (upon request). We work in settings that help provide practical solutions to barriers for youth, parents, and families. The outcomes assist in developing problem-solving skills, better communication, and critical thinking
Volunteers may choose to be a speaker in group settings or provide resource support.
Community Outreach
CCDN Community Outreach projects are short-term projects. We have projects such as Christmas at CCDN, Back to School Backpack Giveaway, E.L.E.C.T. Teen Summits, building projects, and more...
Volunteers may choose to volunteer in any of these capacities which come around in more seasonal settings.
