This year we are making BOLD moves! So bold that we are one of the five recipient winners of The Bold (Building Opportunities for Lasting Development) grant led by the city of Birmingham's Department of Innovation and Economic Opportunity (IEO). CCDN will receive $80,000 to build a resilient and inclusive economy in Birmingham with workforce development and continue our committed efforts to cultivate change in the community.
Funding is used to run CCDN's Inspire Education Academy. Inspire is housed to help youth 16 years old and up with education and life challenges. The program teaches life skills, job skills, GED/Drop-out Recovery, provide trade education opportunities, and more. We are now enrolling . See how below.
