8 Years in Nonprofit! It's a Celebration!



CCDN is so very excited to announce that we are turning 8 years old. YES! This has been a blast! What started as a group of volunteers working with young girls has now blossomed into a full network of community leaders, partners, organizers, parents, youth, churches, and government partners to help families in our community!


During our 8 years, we have touched thousands of households helping to meet needs in several areas including food insecurity, homelessness, job insecurity, education barriers, court advocacy, financial barriers, and family instability.

This amazing work needs your help! We are raising $50,000 to help continue our programs and services. Without your donations, families may not get the much-needed resources.

Here are a few highlights over the years to help you understand

Served over 10,000 households in East Lake, Woodlawn, Titusville, Center Point, Bessemer, and North Birmingham providing food, clothes toiletries, incontinence supplies, baby diapers, baby formula, and household supplies


  • Served over 10,000 households in East Lake, Woodlawn, Titusville, Center Point, Bessemer, and North Birmingham providing food, clothes toiletries, incontinence supplies, baby diapers, baby formula, and household supplies

  • Served over 5,000 households in homeless prevention or finding housing

  • Served over 3,000 households in financial resource assistance by directly providing rent and utility assistance or connecting to resources

  • Served over 500 youth helping with conflict resolution, problem-solving, anger management, graduating from high school, and continuing into college or trade program

  • Served over 150 parents helping with family conflict resolution, job insecurity, problem-solving,

  • Serving over 100 clients (youth and adults) with court advocacy assisting with driver's license reinstatement, community service program, education, and attending court
