CCDN Life Services

Family and Life Services-This program provides family support in essential needs such as emergency food, clothes, household supplies, and resources.  Life Services are a means to help support families during shortages and crises. This program is designed to help fill in those gaps in between assistance programs and/or pay periods.  Clients receive an opportunity to engage in life service resources which include the following:

  • Workforce Development Training Opportunities & Job Resources

  • Life Resources-Rent & Utilities

  • Administrative Support Services

  • Support Services-Groups and Foundation

COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS PLEASE READ: The Life Services Program will be very limited in the upcoming weeks.  The Life Services Program is currently servicing critical food needs Only!!!  All are welcomed to participate. Please stay tuned for announcements for deliveries for youth without transportation and seniors only at this time. 

CCDN offices are currently operating by appointments only at this time.  Appointments include phone calls and virtually until June 1, 2020.  As per health guidelines, CCDN is still practicing social distancing providing services at a limited capacity.  Please feel free to call 205-238-5506 to schedule an appointment. Community Care Development Network will continue to evaluate the guidance from the CDC and other healthcare professionals. While we are unable to determine the duration of our remote work plans, we will continue to provide updates as they become available.

With respect to the Federal, State, and City of Birmingham's Shelter in Place Ordinance and Social Distancing, CCDN will perform its Life Services Program Emergency Food Boxes initiative on a case by case basis (granted if the ordinance is lifted.)  All critical services will be determined by CCDN and all decisions are final.  Registration is required, see the form below.  All information required on the form is required to receive service.  

Food Boxes are on a first come first serve basis.  WE LIMIT 1 food box per household regardless of its size.
