Inspire Career Education Development was created for nontraditional students who are looking for second chances.  Nontraditional students are defined

  • 16 years or older

  • High School Drop-out

  • Justice-involved (criminal record, juvenile record, returning home from prison) 

  • Unemployed or underemployed

  • Looking for a better life, education, and/or career opportunity

January Online Class


Providing 10 weeks of essential career skills (formerly known as soft skills) through combined programs WorkFaith Birmingham and Ready to Work.  This is a step greatly needed and requested by employers to help future employers become essential to the community and workforce.  The return on investment for participants is to develop foundation career skills that will help their economic status, career growth, and life goals. 


Learn essential financial skills that will help participants set healthy financial goals.  Participants will become educated in budgeting, spending, credit, and money management.  Opportunities are available to open checking and savings accounts. 

Life Development Plan

We will walk alongside participants to help set life development goals and plans that will help you navigate the plan set.  Participants will be paired with a Life Coach to help provide resources, tools, and opportunities to carry out the vision for their life.  


Career and Education resources include a direct connection to career coaching, employers, education, and trade opportunities including GED, Medical, Customer Services, Communications/Dispatching, Administration, Logistics, and Agriculture.
