2014

Youth Mentoring Group Precious Pearls of Promise begins at Woodlawn United Methodist Church 30 young ladies are enrolled over the summer

2015

Youth Mentoring Group Diamonds in the Rough begins at Woodlawn United Methodist Church

CCDN is incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

2016

Parents Helping Parents is launched.  This is a forum developed for parents by parents to help with communication challenges.

First Annual E.L.E.C.T. Teen Summit serving 50 kids

 

2017

CCDN moves into a larger space to expand operations and services.

Second Annual E.L.E.C.T. Teen Summit serving 50 kids.

2018

CCDN Prayer breakfast hosted.

Life Services is launched, providing essential needs to adults, youth, and families.

Healthy Tuesdays launched providing heathy alternatives, education, and resources to adults, youth, and families

Internship program is launched. 

Partnerships are built for education and reentry services

2019

CCDN served 2400 families in Life Services Program providing emergency food, clothes, and  resources

LearnWorks Math and Reading Enrichment Program launched

Peer Support and Community Forums held 

Save Village Market Project

First Annual Christmas at CCDN Project

2020

Relocated to North East Lake to expand services.

Served over 3,000 families in Life Services Program.

Gave out $50,000 in rent and utility assistance through the Birmingham Strong Program

Restructured operations to accommodate Covid-19 Pandemic, providing Life Services, Education Programs, and Community Service Projects

2021

Closed on new location 1920 Old Springville Road Center Point, AL 35215

Launched Woodlawn/East Lake Food Hubs

Re-launched Inspire Education Program

Working on becoming a Family Resource Center
