CCDN Education Programs and Services that help increase skill and knowledge in key areas. Education programs are for youth and adults including youth reading and math enrichment, GED tutoring, trade school resources, and career readiness classes.
LearnWorks Reading and Math Enrichment-This program is for middle school and high school-aged youth who have a challenge with reading and math.
GED Tutoring- GED tutoring available for youth age 16-19 and adults 20 and older. GED tutoring is designed to assist with preparation for the GED exam. Assessments will be given to determine the level of learning. This program is developed to prepare learners for success in the job market, college, and life through building confidence and life skills needed to flourish.
Career Readiness Classes-Equip youth and adults with the essential work skills needed to secure employment and develop a life development plan. Career readiness materials are supported by Alabama Ready to Work, WorkFaith Birmingham, and Inspire Education Program.
Healthy Tuesdays-Health education focuses designed to help families with their health education needs. The program involves educating families by collaborating with healthcare facilities, clinics, doctors, nutritionists, counselors, insurance agencies to help the community. Healthy This program engages families in the community to live and maintain healthy lifestyles through four (4) key areas: Mental Health, Fitness, Family & Nutrition, Spiritual Health.
